  6. TextWorks is a powerful text editor which is capable of professional level functionality while maintaining the standard Mac OS ease of use.

  10. What is it?
  11. TextWorks is an application for creating, editing, saving and printing text documents. It can open any file type and save into several. It provides all standard text tools and adds loads of new ones. For example, TextWorks comes with a built in HTML editor and a Picture Viewer. But TextWorks isn't just for the power user. It provides a quick and easy text editor which is capable of power user functions while maintaining the ease of use which has become the standard of Mac OS applications. TextWorks provides this and more at the low price of only 10 US dollars.

  16. Mac OS 8.0 or later (Or system 7 and Appearance Manager)

  21. TextWorks is shareware. The registration fee is 10 US dollars.  We've put a lot of free time into TextWorks (once I sat in front of my Mac until 5 AM trying to fix a bug!), so I'd like at least a few dollars for my work.

  31. Single User (10 USD):
  32. The single user license is the basic license which allows a single user to use the app.

  34. Site license (120 USD):
  35. The Site license allows anyone in the organization that has registered and purchased a site license and inside a 160 km (100 mile) area use the app.

  37. World wide license (400 USD):
  38. The world wide license lets anyone in the organization that has purchased the license use the app as long as he lives on this planet :) Additional WW-licenses are required for other planets :)

  41. Legalities

This program should do exactly what this readme and the documentation say. If it doesn't, or if it does something you don't want it to do, you can stop using it. If it eats your hard drive, don't use it (though this is a physical impossibility). In other words, you use this program at your own risk. I will not be liable for any damages this software product might cause. If you have registered the program before it eats your hard drive or does anything else that you don't like, drop me a line and you'll get your money back and your license will be cancelled.
